Relaxation meets you at the door as you enter this spacious home nestled in the trees on the top of Strawberry Hill in Ocean Park. Large west-facing windows provide for a sweeping view of the Pacific Ocean from the family/living room, dining room, kitchen and master bedroom. Tongue & groove wood walls and ceilings give a cabin-like charm to this roomy oceanfront vacation rental. The clean, comfortable living area is 'wide-open' and includes a pellet stove (pellets provided), large diningroom table, books and games, game table, a TV viewing area and a conversation/surf-watching area. A large protected sundeck with a glass wind-break offers the perfect place to soak away your cares in our new 6-person hot tub while watching the surf. Add an oversized picnic table for your outdoor dining enjoyment and your getaway is complete. The sunsets can be breathtaking and it's only about 100 yards down the private beach path to 28 miles of sandy beach. Famous for it's kite-friendly breezes, our beach is the best for leisurely strolls, bird watching, storm watching, picnics, hiking and for anyone looking for an abundance of fresh air. The ever-present surf furnishes a natural sense of well-being and restoration.
Two of the bedrooms (queen and 2 twins) are located on the main/upper level with the livingroom, kitchen, dining area and 2 bathrooms. Easy access is at ground level. The lower level contains 2 bedrooms (2 queens) and 1/2 bath. The kitchen is fully equipped with two ovens, a warming drawer, a dishwasher, microwave, toaster, coffeepot, a spacious pantry and a fireplace (wood provided). Paper products are provided as well as hand and dish soaps. A charcoal grill is available in season on the deck.
